::Speak English, people!!!

"A polynomial is a monomial or multinomial consisting of terms with variables having zero or positive integral exponents."
-from Prepmaths thingy

Huh? What do you make of this one?

Speak English, people!!! You're dealing with people who dropped additional maths here (ie. they sucked so much at maths that they had to drop A maths).

Anyway, many Googles (and check out Answer.com!) later, I found out what the above statement meant:
A polynomial is some thingo with >= 1 term with powers that are either zero or positive integers.
If you couldn't make any sense of either explanation, well, I can't either.
It's one of those things that is impossible to explain properly to non maths geniuses.

Or you can check out what Answer.com says here.

(Prepmaths people, if you're reading this: Can we have a narration-less option please? Cause usually I'm listening to some cd and using a slow connection and the narration takes so long to download that I only get disjointed bits of it so it's not much help anyway.
The sound effects are okay though.
Thought it was too minor a problem to contact you guys about anyways.)
