::There's nothing like playing a stupid game repeatedly...

cause you made it and now all the diffferent parts have decided to screw up on you one week from the deadline.

1) there seems to be something wrong with the way the life is updated but i have to discuss it with my fellow group member first

2) the restart button does what it wants (usually not something i want) and no one knows what to do with it

3) The instructions are non-existent.

4) Same with the high scores.

5) The pictures are all screwed, which is not surprising cause they're temporary - the pterodactyl is a picture of an airplane, the food is a picture of a moon (of all things!) and if we're going to draw them ourselves, we'll be using something like (hello?) MS paint.

6) We succeeded in making the most predictable and un-fun game in the whole world

7) Lag lag lag.

8) there are enough timers to wake u up in the morning every day of the week

9) I had nothing but paos (buns) and coffee for lunch because of this damn game and now I'm fucking hungry

the scoring works (phew!) at least

what the hell.

::this is a short post

Got my Vans over the weekend. There's a long story behind them but I don't really feel like typing it. Well, uh, they grip pretty well. And they're green! And they're cheap, well $49.90.

So anyone going back to SN anytime soon?

::Ok I'm damn sorry. (and hey, I mean it! Really!)

Went out with mut on Sat to watch Aftermath of Karaoke (it's a concert at Esplanade Outdoor theatre btw) and I think hey, I really acted like a bastard. Cause I was saying something about bad trance being repetitive and I only realised how bad it sounded (well, if someone had said that to me, I wouldn't be too pleased) when I got home.

Mut, I'm damn sorry and I hope you didn't take it personally. When I was talking about bad trance being repetitive, I was actually thinking about some songs I had downloaded from the Internet and some of my (how embarassing) own horrible attempts at composing. I didn't mean to insult or criticise you in any way and I hope you didn't take it that way. Are you pissed? Sorry!

Wanted to apply for some clinic but I realised that it started already. (Anyway, I wouldn't have been able to attend it cause I was down with dengue at that time) &#$%%&!!!!

Anyway, are any of you guys able to lend me Photoshop? I need it urgently and I'd be very grateful. Thanks!

::Stress

Right, dun come back to school for a week, and suddenly everything is upon you.

I've just managed to sort out the vbas and dbms thingys, and uwos thingy is like fuck and now we have more and more crap and I feel hopelessly inadequate.

Biked to Toa Payoh to feel better. Guess what, it worked like some damn drug until I came home and remembered that I still was in the mess.

Everyday gets worse.

Waiting 4 reply 2 my sms but dun think its gonna happen.

I think I think I don't want to think anymore.

I need some release.

::Thanks for all your concern

I've recovered (but by no means fully recovered) from dengue and went back to school on Monday. Thanks to everyone for your concern.

::Really no comment.

Well, I had the most horrendous fevers for two days, starting on Monday (well, technically it started on Sunday right after I returned from watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Mut and Co.) then on the third day half my face decided to sprout an incredible number of zits.

"What's this?!" I yelled. "How am I going to go to school like this?! I look like I've just returned from having some contagious skin disease!! Everyone will stay at the other end of the room from me!"

By some later time of the day, the other half of my face had decided to become overrun with zits too. It was incredible. I looked like one of those people with a really bad zit problem, only I'd acquired mine almost overnight.

Wait, people with massive zit problems don't acquire all their zits overnight.

So I went to take a closer look at my face in the mirror and the more I looked, the more they didn't look like zits. Anyway, despite three days of rest and medication, my fever was still going strong at 39 - 40 degrees so I decided to go to the doctor again the next day.

And guess what? It was dengue fever. Wow, I love the way things are going :(

My platelet count is currently (according to my last blood test, that is) 102,000 platelets per microlitre. Normal platelet count for an adult is 150,000 platelets per microlitre. If my platelet count drops to 70,000 next blood test on Saturday, I'll be packed off to hospital where they'll make me stay in bed all day and occasionally stick needles in my arm. Fortunately, with the help of a little medication, I don't feel that bad right now, just a little woozy perhaps.

Anyway, I'm currently under observation at home. My face itches like hell and the worst thing is, I can't ride my bikes!

People, take care of yourselves and don't let the mozzies bite.

::"...."

Rise
Your wise quote is: "Our greatest glory is not
in never falling, but in rising everytime we
fall" by Confucius.
Yes indeed, you see true strenght can only be
seen when a person has "fallen". Only
then one can tell how they will handle it. Just
don't make others fall so you can know who they
really are. You on the other hand may be a very
quick recoverer and don't let people bring you
down. You are your own, and you're find with
that. Emotional issues is something you handle
rather nicely.

::Mens with muscles

Me and my sis biked to Bishan today to check out the gym cause we suddenly felt like going to a gym. Unfortunately the one in Bishan was full of muscle-y men who looked like they were either pe teachers or water polo team players and we felt flabby. So we went away. :(

Next time we try out the CC gym instead?

And people arh, dun go out and/or hang your clothes outdoors after sunset this month. It's the hungry ghost month and if you hang your clothes outdoors after dark, the ghosts might borrow them. And be careful with pillion riders on your bicycle.

::Pissifying.

Database management test today. Of course I didn't study. So how it go?

Went fine, better than expected. Honestly, I'm pretty confident of passing. Maybe not top the class lah, but can pass at least. Wow! Big achievement for me!

Anyway, I think I pissed off this guy today. Cuz before the test, I asked him "what you think you'll get?" and I told him that I expected to pass cause honestly, I expected to pass. Then I think he thought I was showing off or something. No comment.

Some guy asked me what I spent all my time doing if I wasn't studying. So I told him, "ride bike, play guitar, etc." Ten he was like, you play guitar? And I was like oops shit, shouldn't have said that. Well, I was right, cause when he found out I played electric he started trying to ask me what type of music I play and wouldn't accept that I said "anything I like", which was the truth because I'd got over the fame and "cool factor" part long ago, and I no longer consider myself a "serious" guitarist. So whatever I play is truly what I like, I can be making nonsense noises and playing stupid pop songs one day, and attempting (keyword: attempting) Yngwie Malmsteen the next. So seriously, I dunno. It's all for fun now, the way it should have been in the beginning.

Feel very alienated from my SP classmates all of a sudden. That's what comes from spending all your free time during 1 week holiday hanging out with bikes, guitars and a mushroom(you know who you are).

Walked home from Macritchie (sp?) today. Wow, I am a God. (obviously you can tell I'm not that fit hehe)
